Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service routes around Murray, UT. The position is full-time and reports to the Sandy, UT office once per week. You will work locally, handling pesticides in compliance with laws and maintaining accurate service records.

No prior experience is required as Aptive provides training. A company vehicle, travel around the local area, and opportunities for advancement are included along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• US driver’s license valid for at least 3 years is required.
• Clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 in the past 4 years).
• Drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route servicing local customers and addressing pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in good working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and handle pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert by recommending effective pest solutions.
• Maintain route customer service according to company standards.
• Inform management of any route issues.
• Maintain inventory of pesticides and ensure route areas are properly serviced.
• Route is local to your area and involves a backpack weighing ~50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.
