Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an outside sales professional to grow and manage a local book of business in Ruston, LA. This role focuses on independent account development, end-to-end relationship management, and driving revenue through new sales and account expansion.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a B2B outside sales role in the foodservice industry and may come from a restaurant leadership background.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Generates additional business through analyzing sales territory and identifying opportunities.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts and coordinates deliveries and terms.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through coordinated service and problem resolution.
• Builds additional business with current customers via product penetration.
• Monitors accounts for credit terms and follows up on issues.
• Maintains awareness of pricing trends to ensure competitive pricing.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
