Job summary

Sysco is seeking a delivery driver to run daily routes, unload and palletize products at customer sites, and ensure on-time delivery with accurate documentation. The role requires loading/unloading, conveying products safely, and maintaining strong customer relations on a daily basis.

Candidates should have at least one year of route delivery experience, read and understand English, and be capable of handling up to 100-lb loads, with adherence to DOT rules and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck.
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; stack pallets and use hand cart.
• Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain signatures; report discrepancies and returns.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and follow DOT regulations and Sysco policies.
