Job summary

Sysco is seeking a delivery driver in the United States. You will run daily routes with frequent stops, unloading products by hand or with a hand cart, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers. You may assist with loading, palletizing, and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, be able to pass background checks and drug screens, and communicate in English. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required as business needs demand.

Qualifications

• Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• License to drive - valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and reports.
• Flexibility - overtime, weekends and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer using hand cart and place in designated storage areas.
• Lift and move product weighing 40–100 pounds repeatedly.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; report discrepancies.
• Call in when a customer does not receive entire order.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and Sysco policies.
