Job summary

Turner Industries Group is seeking an experienced Millwright for a full-time maintenance role in Point Comfort, TX. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience, be able to pass a drug screen, and possess a valid driver's license. TWIC is required.

Per diem or relocation is not offered; candidate must reside in/near the area. General duties include installing and maintaining machinery per layout plans, blueprints, and written instructions in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

1–4 years of experience in the skill (level dependent).
Pre-employment written qualification test is required.
Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
OSHA-approved corrective eyewear (Z87) required.
Site safety rules include PPE and other client requirements.
Applicant/employee must not pose a direct health or safety threat.

Responsibilities

Installs and maintains machinery per plans, blueprints and instructions.
Reads blueprints and schematics to determine procedures; dismantles and moves equipment.
Assembles and aligns machines, bolts, welds and fixes to foundations.
May operate engine lathe for grinding parts to spec; may lubricate equipment.
May be involved in grouting equipment base plates.
