Job summary

Turner Industries Group is seeking an experienced Millwright for a full-time maintenance role in Point Comfort, TX. The successful candidate will install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, read blueprints, and perform precise alignment and assembly tasks.

Overtime may be required and a drug screen plus TWIC and a valid driver's license are required. Safety is a priority, with strict adherence to client site rules and PPE.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a millwright or in maintenance.
• Written pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• OSHA required safety eyewear (Z87).
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection).

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains machinery per layout plans, blueprints, and written instructions.
• Reads blueprints and schematics to determine procedures; dismantles and moves machinery.
• Assembles and installs equipment (shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines, blowers).
• Aligns machines, bolts, welds or fastens components to foundations or structures.
• Repairs and lubricates machines; may operate machine tools to finish parts.
