Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Line Technician school (certificate/diploma/associate).
• Or achieve a certificate from an NPPD approved program.
• Or have documented Line Technician experience with another utility or contractor.

Responsibilities

• Lead local crews and coordinate activities with the Supervisor.
• Represent NPPD in public relations with local officials and customers.
• Travel 25%–50% (in-state) with overnight stays as needed.
• Set, read, and maintain meters; perform distribution, subtransmission, and transmission tasks.
• Provide logistics for local jobs and ensure safe operations.
