Job summary

Nebraska Public Power District is seeking a Project Coordinator/Senior Project Coordinator/Project Manager to plan, schedule, and track complex projects across multiple sites in NE. The role emphasizes safety, cost control, and timely delivery, with opportunities for growth in a supportive utility environment.

The position offers a clear pathway through the project lifecycle, working with diverse teams. Pay scales are disclosed for each grade, and travel is up to 25% within Nebraska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree (preferably in a technical field) and five years of experience.
• Associate's degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of seven years of experience.
• High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) and a minimum of nine years of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently execute project management best practices from assignment to closeout and ensure that all phases of the projects meet approved safety, cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Understand and operate the SAP Project Systems Module.
• Maintain an active interface with the customer and assure the customer criteria and objectives are met and the customer is kept fully aware of progress and participates in major decisions.
• Plan, assemble, organize, supervise, and maintain a project management team to successfully execute all phases of projects.
• Plan, schedule, and execute all phase projects in accordance with District project management policies and guidelines.
