Job summary

IMI Industrial Services Group is seeking a full-time Ironworker/Structural Welder local to the Juliette, GA area. The role involves installing, dismantling, and moving machines and equipment, interpreting structural drawings, rigging, and welding in challenging conditions.

Candidates should have 3+ years' experience and may hold NCCER or AWS certification; the job requires safety-conscious teamwork across indoor/outdoor sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in welding/structural work
• NCCER or AWS certification or completion of a related program is preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in varied environments

Responsibilities

• Assist senior employees with installing, dismantling, and moving machines, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Interpret structural drawings.
• Understand and perform crane signaling procedures.
• Align and bolt structural steel members in position for permanent riveting, bolting, or welding into place per structural drawings.
• Direct cranes to move structural steel components and other materials onto and around the construction site.
• Welders should be able to pass an all-position SMAW exam.

Education

NCCER or AWS certification or completion of a related program through an accredited technical school
