Job summary

C.R. England is seeking a Local Intermodal Truck Driver for the PM shift in Olathe, KS. This onsite role features 10–12 hour days, five days per week, with an optional sixth day for extra pay. Expect multiple dispatches from the intermodal yard at 4100 Kentucky Ave, with live load and drop & hook freight.

Most runs are local, with occasional overnight stays. Home multiple times per week while contributing to a growing fleet that has been moving freight since 1920.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.
• Reliable transportation for commute to and from work.
• PTO, 401(k) and voluntary benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Handle intermodal yard dispatches with live load and drop & hook freight.

Kansas City nights are when this intermodal work happens, with your shift running on the PM schedule out of the yard at 4100 Kentucky Ave, Kansas City, MO 64116. Each shift brings multiple dispatches, with a mix of live load and drop and hook freight.

Most runs stay local, and some go as far as 150-200 miles from the rail ramp. Overnight stays happen only occasionally, so you are home multiple times per week.

Your Shift:

• 10-12 hours per day, 5 days a week
• Optional 6th day available for extra pay
• Every dispatch begins and ends at the intermodal yard
• Local and longer dispatches up to 150-200 miles from the rail ramp
• Mix of live load and drop and hook freight
• Occasional overnight stays

Equipment:

• Top of the line trucks with automatic transmissions

• You will commute to and from the yard daily in your own vehicle
