Job summary

C.R. England in Kansas City area is hiring a Local Intermodal Truck Driver for the night shift. This onsite role offers a local schedule with dispatches, live load, and drop-and-hook freight, and occasional overnight stays.

Expect 10–12 hour days, five days a week, with an option for a 6th day for extra pay. Compensation is weekly with pay scales based on 1+ years experience, plus comprehensive benefits and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Intermodal local truck driving experience preferred.
• Valid commercial driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to handle live load, drop and hook freight.

Responsibilities

• Intermodal local dispatches with live load and drop & hook freight.
• Deliveries locally and at times up to 150-200 miles from yard; occasional overnight stays.
• Work 10-12 hour days, five days per week, with an optional sixth day for extra pay.

Job Description:

Intermodal position with a local schedule is hiring now!

A typical work shift will include multiple dispatches with a mix of live load and drop and hook freight.

Delivery Locations:

Local and long distance dispatches going as far as 150-200 miles from the rail ramp. Occasional overnight stays.

Dispatches begin and end at the Intermodal yard is located at 4100 Kentucky Ave, Kansas City, MO 64116.

Schedule:

Driver will work 10-12 hours per day, 5 days a week and can work an optional 6th day for extra pay.

Equipment:

Top-of-the-line automatic transmission trucks.

Drivers must have personal transportation to commute to and from the yard daily.
