Job summary

NW Recruitment Services Ltd are advertising an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB driver role based in Blackburn. The position is temporary ongoing with a view to permanent depending on performance and attendance. Local BB postcode deliveries form the bulk of work.

Typical day starts around 08:30 with finish between 16:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday. Occasional deliveries to Preston or Manchester may arise. A pension is on offer as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experienced HGV Class 2 driver with HIAB/brick grab experience.
• Comfortable with local BB postcode deliveries and occasional Preston/Manchester routes.
• Reliable attendance and performance in a temporary-to-permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 with HIAB/brick grab.
• Load, transport and unload building materials.
• Deliver to BB postcode region, with occasional Preston/Manchester deliveries.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and maintenance reporting.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain records.
• Follow road transport regulations and company procedures.
• Provide professional customer service on-site.
