Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking an experienced Fuel & Propane Driver to safely deliver products and install systems. The role combines DOT-regulated driving with technical service, requiring strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include daily route delivery, terminal loading, pre/post-trip inspections, and after-hours service. Candidates must obtain CDL endorsements and pass MFA Road tests, with strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability and willingness to obtain Class A or Class B CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within the first 90 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass MFA Oil Company road test and DOT requirements.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refined fuel products and propane in a defined local territory; complete daily routes.
• Load fuel/propane at terminals and maintain terminal access credentials.
• Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report concerns.
• Install propane and fuel systems, including site preparation and basic maintenance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and service equipment; participate in on-call emergencies.
• Maintain inventory and proper documentation for parts and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate policies to customers.
