Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Fuel & Propane Driver to safely deliver refined fuel and propane to a defined local territory and to install, inspect, and repair fuel systems as needed. The role emphasizes strict adherence to safety, DOT regulations, and company procedures while maintaining excellent customer relations.

Responsibilities include loading at terminals, performing routine vehicle inspections, on-call availability, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain Class A or Class B CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refined fuel and propane locally according to daily routes.
• Load fuel at terminals and manage terminal access credentials.
• Safely operate commercial vehicles per DOT regulations and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report concerns.
• Install propane and fuel systems, including tanks and site prep.
• Provide emergency service and after-hours support as needed.
• Maintain inventory and accurate records of parts and equipment.
• Communicate with customers and MFA Oil Company to ensure satisfaction.
