Job summary

MFA Oil Company seeks an experienced Fuel & Propane Driver to deliver refined fuels and propane within a local territory and to install, inspect, and service fuel systems. The role combines driving with technical service work and requires strict safety and DOT compliance.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, be willing to obtain CDL endorsements (tanker, HAZMAT, air brake), and pass MFA Oil Company’s road test within 90 days. On-call duties and after-hours service may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability and willingness to obtain Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days of employment; maintain DOT requirements.
• Ability to pass MFA Oil Company road test requiring operation of both manual and automatic transmissions within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to move equipment and retrieve products weighing up to 100 pounds and lift 50-pound boxes as needed.
• Ability to work rotating on-call schedule, holidays, weekends, and after-hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refined fuel products and propane to a defined local territory, completing daily routes.
• Load products at terminals and maintain terminal access credentials.
• Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Install propane and fuel systems, including tank setting and site preparation, with or without a team.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report concerns.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and service equipment, including after-hours emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of parts, equipment, and fixed assets assigned to the plant.
