Job summary

MCG Tran is seeking a dedicated flatbed driver to deliver unfinished steel tube and conduit to local customers in the Davenport, IA area. Most loads are preloaded with no driver unloads, and uniforms are provided. Drivers tarps manually about 1 load per week and typically cover ~170 miles with 6 stops per day.

Responsibilities include strapping loads (100% of the time) and frequently climbing on/off trailers. Training for flatbed certification is provided by JBH Account management as needed.

Qualifications

• Flatbed certification required or training provided by employer.
• Ability to strap loads securely on flatbeds.
• Willingness to climb on and off trailers multiple times per day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unfinished steel tube and conduit to local customers from flatbed trucks.
• Manually tarp loads approximately 1 per week.
• Typically 170 miles and 6 stops per day with preloaded trailers and no driver unloads.
• Uniforms provided by customer; no slip seating.
