Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inspecting the vehicle, and maintaining accurate shipping paperwork. Candidates must be 21+, have a HS diploma or GED, and pass background and drug/alcohol screenings. Training follows after one year in the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass background check and alcohol and drug test.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable MVR.
• At least 6 months of driving experience.
• Willing to enter Southeastern’s Driver Trainee Program after one year in the Final Mile Driver role.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally in a non CDL-A vehicle.
• Load and unload shipments, with or without assistance.
• Inspect vehicle for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips.
• Check shipping papers to determine load nature and ensure hazardous materials are not present.
• Prepare and complete all necessary paperwork related to vehicle operations and freight movements.
