Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a Final Mile Driver in Pooler, GA to pick up, transport and deliver freight locally in a non CDL-A vehicle. You’ll load and unload, perform inspections, and maintain paperwork and shipping documents as required.

You must be at least 21, hold a High School Diploma or GED, pass background and drug tests, have a valid license with an acceptable MVR, and bring at least six months of driving experience. Pay ranges from $31.35 to $34.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and able to pass background and alcohol/drug tests.
• Must hold a valid Driver’s License with acceptable MVR.
• At least 6 months of driving experience, including personal vehicle driving.

Responsibilities

• Pickup, transport, and deliver freight locally in a non-CDL A vehicle.
• Load and unload shipments, with or without assistance.
• Inspect vehicle before/during/after trips and report conditions.
• Maintain shipping paperwork and ensure documentation accompanies shipments.
