Job summary

Tri-Star Transport, an independent FedEx Ground contractor, is hiring dependable FedEx Delivery Drivers for full-time local routes in Arlington, TX. You will operate a FedEx-branded step van or box truck, deliver and pick up packages, and provide excellent service to customers.

This hands-on role requires safety-conscious driving, physical stamina, strong attendance, and the ability to work independently on a 5-day schedule with home daily and no overnight travel. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record and meet company standards.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must lift up to 150 pounds.
• Must pass DOT physical and DOT requirements.
• Must pass 7-year background check.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Reliable transportation to the terminal.
• Strong attendance, dependability, and punctuality.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a FedEx-branded vehicle on local routes.
• Deliver packages and pick up shipments from customers.
• Complete routes accurately, safely, and on schedule.
• Load/unload/sort/organize packages inside the vehicle.
• Use scanners, mobile devices, GPS, and delivery software to manage stops.
• Organize packages to improve efficiency and route productivity.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at delivery/pickup locations.
• Follow FedEx Ground procedures, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report safety concerns.
• Maintain delivery records and documentation.
• Lift/carry up to 150 pounds.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Work independently while meeting route goals.
