Job summary

Tri-Star Transport, an independent FedEx Ground contractor, is hiring dependable FedEx Delivery Drivers for full-time local routes in Arlington, TX. You will operate a FedEx-branded step van or box truck, deliver and pick up packages, and provide excellent service to customers.

This hands-on role requires safety-conscious driving, physical stamina, strong attendance, and the ability to work independently on a 5-day schedule with home daily and no overnight travel. Training is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a FedEx-branded vehicle on local routes.

• Use scanners, mobile devices, GPS, and delivery software to manage stops.

Job Summary

Tri-Star Transport, an independent FedEx Ground contractor, is hiring dependable, safety-conscious FedEx Delivery Drivers for full-time pickup and delivery routes in Arlington, Texas.

As a Delivery Driver, you will operate a FedEx-branded step van or box truck to deliver and pick up packages from residential and commercial customers. This is a hands-on, physically active position that requires safe driving, package handling, route management, reliable attendance, and professional customer service.

We are seeking experienced commercial drivers who can work independently, follow established safety procedures, meet daily delivery schedules, and provide excellent service to our customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a FedEx-branded step van or box truck on assigned local delivery routes.
• Deliver packages and pick up shipments from residential and commercial customers.
• Complete assigned delivery and pickup routes accurately, safely, and on schedule.
• Load, unload, sort, organize, and secure packages inside the delivery vehicle.
• Use handheld scanners, mobile devices, GPS navigation, and delivery software to manage stops and record package activity.
• Organize packages to improve delivery efficiency and route productivity.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at every delivery and pickup location.
• Follow FedEx Ground procedures, company policies, DOT regulations, and applicable transportation safety requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, and required documentation.
• Safely lift, carry, load, and unload packages weighing up to 150 pounds.
• Maintain dependable attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
• Work independently while meeting route completion, productivity, safety, and customer service expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must have a clean driving record and meet company driving standards.
• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must be able to safely lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 150 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and meet applicable Department of Transportation requirements.

• Must have strong attendance, dependability, and punctuality.
• Must be available to work weekends as required.
• Must have no major moving violations, license suspensions, or other disqualifying driving offenses within the past three years.

• Must communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and management.

This position involves driving a commercial delivery vehicle, frequent stops, entering and exiting the vehicle throughout the workday, and handling packages in a variety of weather conditions.

Drivers must be comfortable working on their feet, lifting and carrying packages, navigating residential and commercial areas, and maintaining productivity throughout their assigned routes.

This is a local, full-time delivery position. Drivers return home daily and do not travel overnight.
