As a FedEx Delivery Driver / Pickup & Delivery Driver, you will operate a FedEx-branded step van or box truck on local routes, delivering to residential and commercial customers with a focus on safety, reliability, and excellent customer service.

FedEx Delivery Driver – Pickup & Delivery Driver

Tri-Star Transport, an independent FedEx Ground contractor, is hiring reliable, safety-focused Delivery Drivers in Arlington, TX.

We are looking for experienced FedEx Delivery Drivers, Package Delivery Drivers, Route Drivers, Local Delivery Drivers, Box Truck Drivers, Step Van Drivers, and Commercial Drivers who are dependable, professional, safety-focused, and ready to build a long-term career. Military is strongly encouraged to apply.

Pay : $800 a week, paid weekly ($160 per day) Full-Time

Start time : 745am everyday

Delivery Driver Responsibilities

As a FedEx Delivery Driver / Pickup & Delivery Driver, you will operate a FedEx-branded step van or box truck while completing assigned local delivery and pickup routes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Safely operate a step van or box truck on assigned local routes.

Deliver and pick up packages from residential and commercial customers.

Complete daily delivery and pickup routes safely, efficiently, and on schedule, 8-10 hour shifts.

Load, unload, sort, organize, and secure packages in the delivery vehicle.

Use handheld scanners, mobile devices, GPS, and other delivery technology.

Organize packages to improve route efficiency, productivity, and delivery times.

Follow FedEx Ground procedures, Tri-Star Transport policies, DOT regulations, and transportation safety requirements.

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.

Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, and required documentation.

Safely lift, carry, load, and unload packages weighing up to 150 lbs.

Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.

Work independently while meeting route productivity, safety, delivery, and customer-service expectations.

Follow all procedures for vehicle operation, package handling, customer service, and workplace safety.

Delivery Driver Requirements

To qualify for this FedEx Delivery Driver / Package Delivery Driver position, applicants must:

Be 21 years of age or older.

Have a valid driver's license.

Have a clean driving record.

Have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.

Be able to safely lift and move packages weighing up to 150 lbs..

Be able to pass a DOT physical and meet applicable Department of Transportation requirements.

Be able to pass a 7-year background check.

Be able to pass required pre-employment and random drug screenings.

Have reliable transportation to and from the terminal.

Have strong attendance, dependability, and punctuality.

Have weekend availability.

Have no major moving violations, license suspensions, or other disqualifying driving offenses within the past three years.

Be able to work independently in a physically demanding, fast-paced delivery environment.

Be able to communicate professionally and effectively with customers and management.
