Job summary

Orica is seeking a CDL Class B Driver in Poultney, VT to deliver and install blasting products at customer sites. The role blends driving and field work, focusing on safety, quality service, and customer support in mining and construction environments.

You will drive bulk trucks, perform inspections, handle hazardous materials, and participate in safety meetings. The position requires outdoor work, early starts, and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required; Class A is a plus.
• Tanker/ Hazmat endorsements preferred.
• DOT regulations understanding and safe driving experience.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive approx. 40% and perform 60% physical field work.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and refuel fluids.
• Hook up/unhook trailers and operate emulsion tanker/box trucks.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and comply with regulations.
• Participate in safety talks and report incidents promptly.
