Orica USA is seeking a CDL Class B Driver for the Poultney, VT area. The hybrid role involves 40% driving and 60% field work, delivering blasting products and providing customer service at mining, quarry, and construction sites.

Responsibilities include truck inspections, loading/unloading, and ensuring safety compliance. Endorsements and physical stamina are valued, with a competitive hourly salary and benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required (Class A is a plus).
• Tanker/Hazmat endorsements preferred.
• Willingness to obtain endorsements—support will be provided.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) to deliver and install blasting products at customer sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and refuel fluids as needed.
• Hook up/unhook trailers safely and operate emulsion tanker and box trucks.
• Handle hazardous materials in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Minimize environmental impact through waste reduction and control practices.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings.
