Job summary

Dircks Moving & Logistics is seeking a Local Driver - Non CDL to join our Phoenix team. You will act as a crew leader, direct loading of furniture, drive a straight truck, and unload contents at destination.

The role requires operating a range of commercial vehicles, strict adherence to safety regulations, and professional customer interactions during deliveries and pickups. This position includes benefits such as 401(k) plans, medical insurance, and onsite perks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR per carrier guidelines and passing DOT physical.
• DOT physical required per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Drive a range of commercial vehicles, including straight trucks and other trucks, and load/unload as needed.
• Plan routes for timely deliveries while optimizing fuel use.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections.
• Complete documentation: logs, weight tickets, BOLS, inventories and incident reports.
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries or pickups.
• Adhere to hours of service, weight limits, and safety regulations.
