Job summary

Crowley, based in Alaska, is looking for a dedicated Fuel Truck Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of fuel products. Candidates must have a valid Class A or B CDL with necessary endorsements and a minimum of two years driving experience. What You’ll Do

Drive a designated route to load and/or unload fuel safely and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and receive petroleum products to and from company tanks, customer tanks, and airplanes as required; perform customer service activities including fuel attendant duties, assist with gasoline pump meter readings, sales slips, and credit card charges; conduct daily vehicle inspections and requisition parts and repairs; perform or assist with weekly facility inspections; help maintenance crews with maintenance and upgrades.
• Track and reorder inventory.
• Complete paperwork and update information in computer tracking systems; understand and implement company, state and federal regulations.
• Act as a first responder to spill incidents and perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Credentials

High school diploma or equivalent, or experience in lieu of education.

Experience

• Minimum of two years operating vehicles that require a CDL.
• Experience with propane, natural gas, pipefitting, plumbing, crane, or boom truck is a plus.

Technical Skills

Familiar with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.

Other

• Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker, Hazardous Materials and Air Brake endorsements.
• Must meet current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Must possess a current Medical Certificate.

Working Conditions

Works inside an office environment and outdoors in high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Required to crouch, stoop, climb ladders, pull hoses from trucks to customer tanks up to 125 to 150 feet, and use a computer keyboard and monitor for extended periods with periods of sitting.
