The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory is seeking a Truck Driver for local routes at the ARC - Adult Rehabilitation Center. You will operate a heavy-duty vehicle, handle donations, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include route planning, loading, and daily inspections. Strong English communication and a valid license/medical card are preferred; CDL is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable English reading/writing and ability to converse with the public.
• Experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van is preferred.
• Valid CDL and/or DOT medical card are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a local route vehicle in compliance with state/federal laws.
• Read/write English to communicate with the public and complete reports.
• Acquire pickup tickets and complete routes efficiently to maximize pickups.
• Load donations safely to maximize load capacity and minimize damage.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep the truck clean and secure.
