Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking an experienced Dialysis Chronic RN for a strict local contract assignment in Houston, Texas. The role leverages nephrology and chronic hemodialysis expertise to support patient care and facility operations.

You will assess patients, coordinate dialysis care, lead clinical teams, educate families, and ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations. This 13-week local position offers competitive pay and a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year nephrology nursing experience within the last 2 years.
• Chronic hemodialysis nursing experience required.
• Ability to provide clinical leadership and delegate responsibilities.
• Two verified references (manager and peer).
• Eligibility to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients before, during, and after hemodialysis treatments.
• Document data and modify treatment plans as indicated.
• Communicate status changes to supervisors and physicians.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and disease management.
• Coordinate safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy for assigned patients.
• Delegate care to Technicians, LPNs/LVNs and other staff.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Assist with emergency response as needed.
• Act as a clinical resource and assist with staff orientation and training.
• Ensure proper lab specimen collection, processing, and follow-up.
