Job summary

East Bay Restaurant Supply, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Person responsible for local deliveries and supporting warehouse crews.

You will maintain contact with the Warehouse Delivery Center to receive instructions and help with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties. Responsibilities include receiving and processing orders, operating forklifts and order pickers, palletizing, loading/unloading trucks, and using warehouse systems to track inventory.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug test and maintain a clean DMV report.
• Forklift and/or order picker experience required.
• Safely securing equipment on delivery trucks.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Reliable, safety-minded and team oriented.
• Experience driving a 26' bobtail truck with lift gate.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship, and process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and order pickers safely (certification preferred).
• Palletize orders; load and unload trucks.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize computers and warehouse systems for inventory and order tracking.
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Comply with all safety standards and company policies.
• Assist in offloading stainless equipment (Various Shapes & Sizes).
