Job summary

East-Bay-Restaurant-Supply, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Person in West Sacramento, CA to handle local deliveries and assist current crews.

You will maintain contact with the Warehouse Delivery Center for instructions, help with shipping/receiving, and support general warehouse duties. Responsibilities include receiving and processing orders, operating forklifts and order pickers, palletizing and loading trucks, using warehouse systems, and keeping a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test and maintain a clean DMV report.
• Forklift and/or order picker experience required.
• Knowledgeable in safely securing equipment on the delivery trucks.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in driving a 26' bobtail truck W/ Lift gate.
• Capable of lifting equipment up stairs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship, and process orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate forklifts and order pickers safely (certification preferred)
• Palletize orders; load and unload trucks
• Maintain attention to detail in all tasks to ensure accuracy
• Utilize computers and warehouse systems for inventory and order tracking
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Comply with all safety standards and company policies
• Required to assist in offloading of stainless equipment (Various Shapes & Sizes)
