Job summary

PSS Cross Country Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Driver/Material Handler to perform deliveries in the local area and handle warehouse duties. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, and verifying shipments, while maintaining equipment and inventory accuracy.

The role requires a valid license, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and experience operating forklifts. A strong focus on safety and efficient movement of products across the branch is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Physically able to lift 50lbs regularly and up to 70lbs occasionally.
• Familiar with standard warehouse practices.
• CDL and forklift experience or ability to obtain certification.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for shipping and receiving.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and 3+ years of driving experience (if driving duties are required).

Responsibilities

• Deliveries & Driving: Safely pick up and deliver products within the local branch area using company vehicles.
• Drive company trucks to and from customers or vendors, completing deliveries on time.
• Transport products to local customers using company trucks and trailers (if applicable).
• Maintain company vehicles by keeping them clean and ensuring preventive maintenance checks are completed; promptly report issues or concerns.
