Job summary

PSS Cross Country Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Driver/Material Handler to pick up and deliver products and perform warehouse duties. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, receive, store, pack, ship, and distribute items within the local branch area, and ensure vehicle and equipment safety.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50–70 lbs, and familiarity with standard warehouse practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Must be physically able to lift 50–70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries & Driving: Safely pick up and deliver products within the local branch area using company vehicles.
• Deliveries & Driving: Drive company trucks to and from customers or vendors, completing deliveries on time.
• Deliveries & Driving: Transport products to local customers using company trucks and trailers (if applicable).
• Deliveries & Driving: Maintain company vehicles by keeping them clean and ensuring preventive maintenance checks are completed; promptly report issues.
• Warehouse Operations: Pull, stage, and prepare products from designated inventory locations with accuracy.
• Warehouse Operations: Package and secure outbound shipments, ensuring products are damage‑free and ready for delivery.
• Warehouse Operations: Unload incoming trucks, verify materials against delivery tickets, and resolve discrepancies.
• Warehouse Operations: Check vendor packing lists, update PO Stock Tickets, and accurately record inventory movements.
• Warehouse Operations: Stock and organize products in assigned locations while keeping inventory records current.
• Warehouse Operations: Conduct inventory control audits to maintain stock accuracy.
• Equipment & Safety: Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders.
• Equipment & Safety: Perform daily equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Equipment & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
• Equipment & Safety: Consistently follow company safety protocols and procedures.
