Job summary

Dynamic-Metals in Elkhart, IN is seeking a full-time Shipping, Driver to handle local deliveries and shipping preparation. You will drive a box truck, inspect vehicles, plan routes, and crate products per customer specifications.

Requirements include a valid chauffeur’s license, forklift certification, a DOT physical, and at least two years in manufacturing. Monday–Thursday, with some Fridays, start times vary by route.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and highly organized, able to manage time with minimal supervision.
• Forklift license provided by the company and valid chauffeur’s license required.
• Must pass a DOT physical and have minimum two years of manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive box truck and deliver products to customers locally.
• Inspect vehicle for mechanical and safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Inspect product prior to packaging for defects and crate as needed.
• Load and unload product, pull parts from stock for shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Demonstrate safe work habits and comply with training requirements.
• Ensure confidentiality of records and perform other duties as assigned.
