Job summary

STAUFFER GLOVE & SAFETY, a family-owned leader in PPE distribution, seeks a Warehouse Driver to deliver orders locally in Michigan City and surrounding areas. The role combines daily local deliveries with picking, packing, and staging goods for shipment, plus back‑up shipping/receiving duties when not on the road.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of box truck experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to meet DOT medical certification requirements; you will work a full‑time

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience operating a box truck or similar delivery vehicle.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate large vehicles (24’ box trucks).
• Local daily travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all customer orders to local customers daily.
• Prepare orders for delivery: picking, packing and staging in the truck.
• Deliver product and assist customer receiving with movement of product.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Assist with inventory placement and reconcile discrepancies.
