NorthEast Electrical, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a full-time Local Route Driver in Portland, ME. The role involves loading/unloading, local deliveries, and accurate inventory control. You will use forklift equipment and the Eclipse system while maintaining safety and quality standards.

We offer competitive pay at $24 per hour, with a strong benefits package and opportunities for growth within the Sonepar network. A valid license with a clean MVR and reliable performance are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license with a clean MVR for the past 3 years.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.
• Strong math and reading skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse picking and packing processes.
• Dependable and a team player.
• Ability to effectively communicate.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Make local deliveries in company truck as needed.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain inventory through cycle counts and stock checks.
• Performs maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Act in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and coworkers.
• Must acquire a working knowledge of the Eclipse software support system.
• Must be dependable, and positive attitude

Hours: Monday-Friday 4am Start

Rate: $24/hr
