Job summary

Iberia Foods in the United States is seeking a reliable delivery driver to join our logistics team. Responsible for safe transportation of goods, loading and unloading, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

You will navigate local routes, comply with federal and state regulations, pass a background check and drug screening, and work with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift and carry heavy packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Proven delivery or driving experience, preferably in food distribution.
• Knowledge of local/regional routes.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely to transport products to locations.
• Load and unload products; secure items to prevent damage.
• Verify loaded goods match delivery manifests.
• Maintain vehicle logs per regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers about delivery status.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety policies.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed; stock products.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor delivery issues.
