Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Honolulu seeks motivated individuals for a local pickup and delivery driver role. You will drive safely, follow routing instructions, load/unload cargo, and interact positively with customers as part of our Adult Rehabilitation Program support.

This full-time position requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, strong time management, and good communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate electronic equipment used for daily route information.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily routing directions and stay on route.
• Manage time daily to finish routes within schedule.
• Load and unload assigned truck safely.
• Handle donated material with safe procedures and PPE.
• Train and supervise truck helper in rehab program.
• Execute Bag & Tag procedures as directed.
• Complete pre- and post-checks; report issues.
• Provide courteous customer service and report donor issues.
• Report accidents to supervisor immediately.
• Abide by DOT regulations and safety meetings.
• Report safety infractions to supervisor.
• Observe meal and rest breaks per state law.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
