Job summary

Tacoma, WA-based Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a delivery driver for the 1st shift. You will deliver to customers, make 10–12 stops daily, and handle paperwork while providing excellent service.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of driving experience or Truck Driving School certification, a valid CDL with hazmat endorsement, and be able to pass a DOT physical. 21+ and a clean driving record are required, with the ability to lift 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of driving experience or Truck Driving School certification.
• Valid Class B CDL is required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, suspensions, or moving violations in 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day.
• Accurately count and record quantities delivered or picked up.
• Complete hazmat shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet goals.
• Grow knowledge of Linde’s operations to support growth.

• Youwill deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops perday, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellentcustomer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products deliveredand picked up
• You are expected to completehazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOTregulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• You will build both relationships and partnerships with internal andexternal customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customerneeds
• You will continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operatesand succeeds to help organization to continue growing

What makes you great

• Youhave a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading andwriting in English
• You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recentcertification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class BCDL
• This role requires you to be 21years or older
• You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain onewithin 60 days of hire
• You are expected to not have anypreventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 poundsis required
