Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a professional CDL driver to deliver products to customers from the Mount Vernon operation. You will perform 10–12 stops daily, handle freight, and maintain accurate delivery records while upholding customer service standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 2 years driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification, and a hazmat endorsement (or obtainable within 60 days). You will complete DOT paperwork and pass a DOT physical.

Qualifications

• Must have two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from Truck Driving School.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement required (or obtain within 60 days of hire).
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Able to lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers at 10–12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify maintenance needs and coordinate with shop for repairs.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.

What makes you great

• Youhave a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading andwriting in English
• You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recentcertification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A or BCDL
• This role requires you to be 21years or older
• You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain onewithin 60 days of hire
• You are expected to not have anypreventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 poundsis required
