Position will deliver to all types of customers including Foodservice. Drives the delivery vehicle and delivers product to the store. Responsible for ongoing rotating and stocking of product on store shelves, displays, in coolers, and vending equipment. Builds small displays and sets up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners. Generates invoices and is responsible for daily settlement of cash and charges. Has frequent interaction with store management and store receiving personnel for acceptance of load as required. This position requires lifting and loading cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly during work hours and pushing/pulling with forces from 40 - 150 pounds, occasionally. It also involves reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products in the store. Unloads pallets of product from the delivery vehicle with an electronic pallet jack or 2-wheel hand truck, and places the product in designated areas in the stores' backroom.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Deliver product and execute all promotions.
2. Service all scheduled customers by the end of shift.
3. Merchandise all accounts to local standards.
4. Establish positive working relationships with primary contacts at each account.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 21 years or older.
• Pass the DOT drug test and DOT Physical.
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable).

Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:

• Operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL license (e.g., basic driving functions).
• Adhering to all DOT regulations (e.g., reading documentation, maintaining current medical cards).
• Merchandising products (e.g., filling shelves, building displays, rotating stock).
• Using equipment to aid in hauling loads (e.g., pallet jacks, dock plates, load bars).
• Operating equipment such as pallet jacks, lift gates, hand trucks.
• Documenting DOT regulations (e.g., maintaining current documentation).

Because this role involves regular field work, including visiting customer locations and interfacing with employees, vendors, and the public, a conditional offer of employment is contingent upon successful background check and drug screening.
