This position involves delivering to various customers, including Foodservice, and driving the delivery vehicle to distribute products to stores. Responsibilities include stocking store shelves, displays, coolers, and vending equipment, as well as building displays and setting up promotional materials like signs and banners. The role also requires generating invoices and settling cash and charges daily. Interaction with store management and receiving personnel is frequent to ensure proper acceptance of loads.

This job requires physical effort, including lifting and loading cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly, and pushing/pulling forces of 40-150 pounds occasionally. It also involves reaching, squatting, and bending during deliveries and merchandising. Unloading pallets with electronic pallet jacks or hand trucks and placing products in designated backroom areas are also key duties.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Deliver products and execute promotions
2. Service scheduled customers by the end of each shift
3. Merchandise accounts according to local standards
4. Establish positive relationships with primary contacts at each account

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum age of 21
• Pass DOT drug test and physical
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)

Note: In California, except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and interstate statuses are accepted. In Stockton, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:

• Operating trucks requiring a valid CDL
• Following DOT regulations and maintaining documentation
• Merchandising and building displays
• Using equipment like pallet jacks and load bars
• Operating equipment such as lift gates and hand trucks
