Job summary

Linde plc in California seeks a Truck Driver to deliver products and support customer service with safety-focused driving for 10–12 stops daily.

Requires a CDL Class A, hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain, 2 years driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. You must be 21+ and pass a DOT physical. Competitive hourly pay is offered in Chatsworth/LA area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, 10–12 stops daily, with paperwork and service.
• Count and record quantities of delivered and picked up products.
• Complete hazardous materials shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report needed vehicle maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet goals.

What you will enjoy doing*

• Youwill deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops perday, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellentcustomer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products deliveredand picked up
• You are expected to completehazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOTregulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• You will build both relationships and partnerships with internal andexternal customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customerneeds
• You will continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operatesand succeeds to help organization to continue growing

What makes you great

• Youhave a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading andwriting in English
• You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recentcertification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A CDL
• This role requires you to be 21years or older
• You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain onewithin 60 days of hire
• You are expected to not have anypreventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 poundsis required

Pay range: $32.00 - $35.00 hourly, depending on experience
