Location: Grandville, MI - Retail shop

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As the "face of Airgas", the Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck. The Driver loads, unloads, delivers, and returns compressed gas cylinders while frequently interacting with Airgas customers.

Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet, most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology, and GPS navigation.

In Particular, You Will

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations, record deliveries and pick-ups, and obtain signatures. Collect empty cylinders or rejected merchandise, and return empty cylinders for refilling.
• Establish and maintain good customer relations, resolve service inquiries and complaints.
• Provide timely communication to management or sales associates regarding customer issues.
• Maintain load manifests and vehicle documents, ensuring compliance with safety standards (SAFECOR) and regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA).
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies and ensuring safety items are functional.
• Work in warehouse or on dock as needed.

Are you a MATCH?

• Valid Class A Driver's License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications (or ability to acquire).
• At least 1 year of recent Class A professional driving experience with a clean record or equivalent experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
