Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver for home daily, no auto restriction roles in West Palm Beach, FL. You will deliver to restaurants, schools, hospitals and more, with local routes and a stable home daily schedule.

You may unload up to 100 lbs and use a ramp/two-wheeler during shifts. Position includes early start times between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, with a Monday–Saturday layout and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License required.
• Must be able to operate a 10 speed transmission.
• Food or Beverage delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to unload and lift loads up to 100 lbs throughout the shift.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must pass a drug test and background check; DOT Clearinghouse registration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers on local routes and be home daily.
• Build relationships with customers during deliveries.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs and use ramp/two-wheeler as part of shifts.
• Accept schedules with early start times and flexible windows, perform duties safely and efficiently.

CDL A Delivery Driver – Home Daily No Auto Restriction

Location: 250 Truck & Trailer Way, West Palm Beach FL

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service!

In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift.

Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with a flexible start time between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, until the route is finished.

Pay: Weekly minimum guaranteed: $1,100 per week. Drivers average $99K/year. Daily base pay, plus component pay. Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License required
• Must be able to operate a 10 speed transmission
• Food or Beverage delivery experience preferred
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
