Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Manor, TX is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver to serve local customers, delivering food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals and more. You will unload cases up to 100 lbs and work with a ramp and two-wheeler, with day shifts and local routes to be home every night.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with dispatch between 3:00 am and 5:00 am. You must pass a DOT drug test and background check, have a clean driving record, and register in the DOT Clearinghouse.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL required at hire or within 90 days.
• 1–2 years of CDL A driving experience.
• Ability to unload cases up to 100 lbs; operate ramp and two-wheeler.
• Pass DOT drug test and background check; valid driving record.
• Registered in DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

Trailer Drop Local Delivery Route Driver - (Home Every Night and Weekends!)

In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule: Monday-Friday, with dispatch times between 3:00 am - 5:00 am to finish

Pay

• Drivers average $70,000- $90,000/year
• Daily base pay, plus component pay
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire or within 90 days of start date
• 1-2 years experience with Class A CDL
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
