Job summary

Loffredo Fresh Foods in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Non CDL Delivery Driver (Local Delivery) to join our team at the Des Moines Branch. You will be the primary contact with customers during daily deliveries, ensuring accuracy and courtesy.

This role requires a valid interstate license, ability to work early morning hours, and comfortable operating a 26‑foot box truck. Competitive pay is $19.00 per hour plus benefits and 401k.

Job Title: Non CDL Delivery Driver (Local Delivery)

Location: Des Moines

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Non CDL Delivery Driver based out of our Des Moines Branch.

Our drivers touch fright!As a Delivery Driver, you are the team member that our customers interact with the most. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries.

Pay: 19.00 per hour

What we look for:

• Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older
• Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM depending on the route)
• Access to reliable transportation
• Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
• Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
• Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
• Must be comfortable driving a 26 foot box truck

What you’ll do:

• SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
• Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
• Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
• Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
