Job summary

Loffredo Fresh Foods in Des Moines, IA is hiring a Non CDL Run Back Driver (Local Delivery). As a Run Back Driver, you will be the face of our brand, delivering to local customers, checking orders for accuracy, and ensuring a positive delivery experience.

You will operate a 26ft box truck, unload with a ramp and dolly, comply with safety guidelines, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid interstate license and 21+ years old.
• Access to reliable and punctual transportation.
• Pass a background check (sex offender registry included).
• Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in orders.
• Comfortable driving a 26ft box truck.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Non CDL Runback Driver (Local Delivery)
Location: Des Moines, IA

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Non CDL Run Back Driver based out of our Des Moines Branch.We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 7 locations. Loffredo Fresh Foods believes that our employees are the key to a successful future. Our drivers touch freight! As a Run Back Driver, you are the team member that our customers interact with the most. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include taking a 4 pallet truck out to local customers in the Kansas City area. Checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries.

Pay: $18 per hour

Schedule: 7 AM till the work is completed

Days off: Sunday and Thursday

What we look for:
