Job summary

Central Gulf Industrial Alliance in Texas seeks an experienced crane/industrial machinery operator to set up and run power-driven equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, cranes and loaders. You will follow established guidelines, adjust settings to meet specifications, and observe all safety and project rules.

This hands-on role requires operating crane controls, loading and transporting materials, and performing routine maintenance while protecting crew and equipment on unlevel surfaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in the field preferred.
• Follows established guidelines and safety procedures.
• Ability to interpret load charts.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates production equipment in accordance with guidelines.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications accurately and timely.
• Move levers to control diesel, electric, gasoline or steam-powered equipment.
• Interpret hand signals to determine material placement.
• Maintain and inspect crane and hoisting mechanisms.
• Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance or cleaning on tools and equipment.
• Adhere to safety and project rules; assist as required.
