WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Hyannis, MA.

Job Function

• Night Shift.
• 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am.
• Manage care for adult and/or pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions requiring complex assessments and interventions.
• Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families in the emergency room.
• Communicate closely with the healthcare team and recognize the need for early intervention.
• Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic procedures.
• Perform IV insertions, intubations, medication administration, and blood draws.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association required.
