Nuclear Medicine Technologist | Costa Mesa, CA
Pay Range: $75–$85 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Outpatient Clinic Setting

We are currently hiring a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our outpatient mental wellness clinic in Costa Mesa, CA. This position plays a critical role in conducting brain SPECT scans and managing all technical and regulatory aspects of nuclear medicine imaging. If you're detail-oriented, efficient under pressure, and passionate about delivering high-quality care in a supportive team environment — we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform brain SPECT scans and complete related QA/QC procedures
• Prepare IVs and administer radiopharmaceutical doses
• Process and print imaging results before end of each workday
• Maintain Odyssey imaging system and accurate scan logs
• Conduct daily constancy tests, weekly wipe tests, and radiation surveys
• Handle hot lab operations and radiopharmaceutical inventory
• Perform regulatory calibrator tests (leak, linearity, geometry, accuracy)
• Track and manage medical/nuclear medicine supply levels

Requirements:

• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist License in California
• Proven ability to manage large patient volumes efficiently
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Experience working with children and adults in a clinical setting
• Empathy, emotional stability, and excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with brain imaging is
• Experience with Picker Prism 3000 system is a plus
