Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position in College Station, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

• Duration: 52 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Local Contract

Additional Details:

• Department: Nuclear Medicine
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (rotating call)

Essential Functions:

1. Perform high-quality nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures according to protocols, ensuring timely execution.
2. Evaluate imaging quality and maintain equipment through quality control measures.
3. Communicate effectively with patients, establishing rapport and ensuring understanding of procedures.
4. Ensure patient safety by explaining procedures, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining aseptic techniques.

• Maintain current knowledge and skills for diverse patient groups.
• Provide timely, accurate, and cost-effective services in compliance with standards.

Certification/Licensure:

ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N) or Cert Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT), certified by ARRT or NMTCB.
